Share & Collaboration
Tencent Design supports link sharing and real-time multi-user collaboration, enabling designers, product managers, and engineers to work together efficiently on a single platform.
Sharing a File
Generate a Share Link
- Open the design file and click 「Share」 in the top right
- Configure access permissions in the dialog:
| Permission | Description |
|---|---|
| View only | Recipients can view the design but cannot edit |
| Can edit | Recipients can edit the file (requires an account) |
| Can comment | Recipients can add comments |
- Click 「Copy Link」 and send it to your collaborators
Link Expiration
- Links are permanent by default
- You can disable a link in share settings to immediately revoke access
Inviting Members
In the 「Share」 panel → 「Invite Members」 tab:
- Enter the member's email or employee ID
- Select a permission level (View / Comment / Edit)
- Click 「Send Invite」
Invited members receive a notification and can access the file upon acceptance.
Managing Permissions
File owners and admins can adjust member permissions at any time:
- Modify individual member permissions in the 「Members」 list
- Remove members from the file
- Members can request higher access — file owners receive a notification to approve
Real-time Collaboration
When multiple users open the same file simultaneously, collaboration features activate automatically:
- Multi-user cursors: Other collaborators' cursor positions and avatars appear on the canvas in real time
- Instant sync: Edits are synchronized to all online collaborators in milliseconds
- Conflict handling: The system automatically resolves concurrent edit conflicts to maintain data consistency
Comments
The comment feature lets designers and reviewers give feedback directly on the design, without switching to a chat tool.
Adding a Comment
- Switch to 「Comment tool」 (toolbar icon or shortcut
C) - Click anywhere on the canvas where you want to leave a comment
- Type your comment in the input box and press Enter to submit
Managing Comments
- Click a comment pin to view the message and reply thread
- Click 「Resolve」 to mark a comment as resolved
- The 「Comments」 tab in the left panel shows all comments in the file
Version History
Version history records all edits during collaboration:
- Top menu → 「File」 → 「Version History」
- View each contributor's changes with timestamps
- Restore any previous version without affecting collaborators' current work
